描述: [1300.0] PA announced "Risk of ship capsizing in heavy weather — all crew to emergency stations". Master assumed command on bridge as general commander, Second Officer activated GMDSS watch on 2182 kHz and VHF Ch.16.
[1301.0] All crew mustered at emergency stations. Engine room crew confirmed main engine, auxiliary engines and steering gear all in good working condition. Bridge team: Master, OOW, helmsman at their stations. Deck crew mustered at accommodation.
[1302.0] All watertight doors below waterline, accommodation doors, portholes, cargo tank openings and deck openings confirmed closed and secured to prevent downflooding, Vent head floats checked.
[1303.0] Course and speed adjusted to reduce rolling and avoid synchronismm ship's head brought to navigate against wind, speed reduced to minimum maintaining steerage. Rolling period monitored — adjustment of course by 20 degrees resulted in reduced rolling amplitude.
[1305.0] Stability assessment conducted using ship's loading computer. GM calculated from current tank levels. Free surface moments computed for all slack tanks. Righting arm curve (GZ curve) plotted and angle of vanishing stability determined. Current GM sufficient but margin reduced by free surface.
[1307.0] Free surface reduction measures implemented: all ballast tanks pressed up to eliminate free surface. Slack cargo tanks identified and cargo transfer procedure prepared to fill tanks where possible. Double bottom ballast tanks all confirmed either full or empty.
[1310.0] Wind angle adjusted to 25 degrees from the bow on the weather side — ship proceeding with wind fine on starboard bow to reduce leeway and maintain directional control. Speed adjusted to maintain course without excessive strain on hull. Rolling amplitude now under 15 degrees.
[1313.0] GMDSS maintained on continuous watch. Navigation warning broadcast on VHF Ch.16 to alert vessels in vicinity of ship's restricted manoeuvrability. EPIRB and SART units readied at bridge. Emergency batteries checked.
[1316.0] All crew reviewed abandon ship procedures and life-saving equipment . Lifeboat and liferaft embarkation stations cleared and made ready. Immersion suits and lifejackets distributed to all crew members at their stations. Lifeboat engines pre-heated and tested.
[1319.0] Chief Officer inspected all deck securing: mooring lines, spare equipment, gas cylinders, drums and loose items confirmed properly lashed. Forepeak and afterpeak stores checked for shifting. All portable deck equipment moved to secure storage or additional lashings applied.
[1322.0] Master confirmed all crew aware of abandon ship signal and procedures. Emergency lighting tested throughout accommodation and escape routes. Escape route marking verified illuminated and unobstructed.
[1325.0] Steering gear tested in all modes: auto pilot, manual, and non-follow-up. Emergency steering gear communication established between bridge and steering gear compartment. All modes functional. Rudder angle indicators synchronised.
[1328.0] Engine room crew confirmed auxiliary machinery ready for prolonged operation: fuel oil service tanks topped up, LO purifier running, fresh water generator secured, bilge levels normal. All sea water cooling suctions verified clear.
[1331.0] Distress urgency message prepared on bridge — PAN PAN format ready for immediate transmission if situation deteriorates. Communication list updated: RCC, nearest coastal station, Company Emergency Response Team numbers verified on bridge.
[1334.0] Simulated weather improvement reported — wind force reducing to force 6, wave height decreasing. Master ordered gradual return to original course. Ship's motion stabilised. Rolling amplitude below 10 degrees. Resumed course and speed.
[1338.0] All watertight doors re-opened in sequence after Master confirmed safe to do so. Accommodation portholes and doors restored to normal. Ventilation restored. Cargo tank pressure monitored via IG system.
[1341.0] Damage assessment conducted: hull inspection from deck — no visible damage. Soundings taken of all tanks — no unexplained changes. Engine room bilges checked — normal. All machinery confirmed operational. Stability recalculated at normal loading condition.
评估: 1347.0 Master held drill debriefing in crew mess. After-action review: heavy weather procedures, course adjustment effectiveness, stability management, free surface control, and readiness of life-saving equipment. Discussion on weather routing and pre-departure stability planning.
